ROBB PAYNE

Getting to know me can be a lot at once...
So let's start with the basics
I craft relentlessly thrilling stories in dark comedy and horror. I grab my audience by the throat, throw them down a rollercoaster, then I hit hard
with an unexpected emotional turning point. I have a little bit of everything in every story I tell by shaping the ordinary into something extraordinarily wild.
Life isn't one genre, so why would my stories be?
My goal is to create a truly unique cinematic experience- one page and one frame at a time.
"To be a director you have to understand people's behavior:
which defines character.
To be an editor you have to know visual storytelling
from the perspective of said character.
To be a writer you have to create authentic realities
for your characters to be immersed in."
